Our Mission

At Hoofprint Meadows, we are committed to nature and the peace that it brings. With so much distraction on social media and the news, stresses of work and family, and overall pressure, it is important to reboot our systems. Nature and the healing power of the horse-human relationship can help create a space for growth and change.

“There’s something about the outside of a horse that is good for the inside of a man.”

Winston Churchill

Our Programs

Hoofprint Meadows offers a variety of Equine Assisted Services for therapy, recreation, education, personal growth, and wellness. Qualified instructors customize programs for equine facilitated mental health with horses, growth and learning sessions, wellness, and ground-based horsemanship activities (e.g., grooming, handling, leading, observing). No formal diagnosis is required for participation in our programs. Hoofprint Meadow’s programs are open to all participants of any ability, aged 8 to adult.

Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP)

Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) incorporates horses experientially for emotional growth and learning. Individuals learn about themselves and others by participation in therapeutic activities with horses, then discussing their thoughts, behaviors, and patterns. The focus of EAP is not riding or horsemanship, but the individual's mental health and self improvement.
